Hindus calls universe as a play of God and not the work of God. The great Alan Watts explains why.
It is interesting that Hindus, do not call it the work of god, they call it the play of god, the Vishnu lila, (or Leela). They look upon the whole manifestation of all the universe as a play, as a sport, as a kind of dance.
